We appreciate the questions many of you have contacted us with in the past 24+ hours. Like many of you, we are tracking the predicted storm for this weekend.
At this time, there are no plans to cancel the event. Postponement is simply not feasible. Any updated information will be posted to the Queen City website: queencityclassicvolleyball.com.
City of Charlotte contacts pledge to be taking all necessary steps possible to have roads maintained. Of course, each of you must make decisions on whether to attend the event or not that best meets your needs and comfort levels.
Clubs/Coaches - Should a decision be made that a team is going to drop from the event, we ask that you inform us no later than Friday morning at 10a ET at which time the tournament schedule will be adjusted as needed and posted as soon as possible. The ultimate timeline on this depends on the number of teams dropping.
At this time, full or partial entry fee refunds cannot be committed to. Each hotel maintains its own cancellation policies and it is recommended you contact the hotel directly. Any spectator passes will be refunded with a refund request through the SportWrench ticketing platform. Post-event refunds will only be issued if tickets have not been scanned for entry.
Championship Combines should be contacted directly at Info@vbcombines.com regarding their policy on cancellations and refunds. That said, they are still taking registrations for this Friday’s Combine, as well as the one next Friday.
