Charlotte Convention Center, 501 South College Street, Charlotte, North Carolina
Tournament registration opens November 1, 2021
Mark your calendars and plan to attend what promises to be one of your favorite tournaments of the season. All age divisions will compete under one roof.
Team registration and information on age divisions is available at www.advancedeventsystems.com
Morning wave will begin play at 8:00 AM.
Afternoon wave is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM (All teams including work teams should arrive at courts early. If court is empty, you may begin your match up to 30 minutes early. This will help courts to finish at an earlier time Saturday night)
Wave times will be posted the week of the tournament.
All divisions will play pool play on Saturday with playoffs on Sunday.
Tiebreakers will only be played if teams are in contention to enter gold playoff bracket. Teams must be tied in matches and sets to play a tiebreaking set. This keeps a team from being eliminated from the gold bracket on point differentials.
Playing times and court assignments will be available at www.advancedeventsystems.com. These will be posted on the week of the tournament.
Vendors will be located in the play area and will be open Friday 4:00-8:00 PM and during play time on Saturday and Sunday.
WE ARE NOT DOING ONLINE PRE-ORDERS THIS YEAR.
Tournament T-shirts:
The Official 2022 10th Anniversary Queen City Classic T-shirts and Hoodies will be available in the vendor area. Vendor area will be open Friday from 4:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
No outside food, drinks, coolers, tables or chairs are permitted inside the convention center. There is a food court in the main concourse which includes Bojangles, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Buon Cibo (pizza, paninis and salads) and Starbucks.
Courtside seating will be provided for spectators during matches. We ask, as a courtesy, that you leave these seats open for spectators of the teams who are playing at the time.
We will have Emergency Medical Technicians on site throughout the event. The EMT office is located in the corridor outside the playing area. We will also have athletic trainers available for taping purposes stationed near the championship desk.
All coaches are required to have a Medical Release Form for each player with them at all times.
